REINFORCED RUBBER CONTINUOUS CATERPILLARS FOR TRANSPORT FACILITIES

Designed for use as propulsive devices in travelling systems of various-purpose tracked vehicles such as farm tractors, combines, town caterpillar transport, etc. They can be used in wheel vehicles to increase their cross-country capability under conditions of impassable roads in marshy, sandy, snow-covered areas, etc.

The caterpillars are flexible continuous caterpillar contours based on rubbers and polyurethanes reinforced with high-strength polymer or steel cord materials.

Monolithic continuous caterpillars of rubbers or polyurethane elastomers reinforced with steel or polymer cord and steel or composite inserts are the most effective ones in service. Such caterpillars meet, to a complete measure, the customer's requests to both functional characteristics and reduction of ecologically unhealthy effect on the environments They feature compactness, lightweight and minimum expences on operating and servicing.

Main advantages of reinforced rubber caterpillars made of polymer composite materials are:

reduction of compacting effect on the soil by 15-30 %;
reduction of vibration loading level by 2-8 times and maximum noise level up to 10 db;
service life increase up to 20000 to (exceeding of serial caterpillar life by 2-4 times);
ensuring of tracked vehicle traffic on the roads with synthetic hard coatings without their destruction.

Manufacturing methods make it possible to produce caterpillars with various pitch, length, width and tractive force depending on tractor class and structural features of its travelling system.
