Application in construction
SUPERSIL fire resistant
sound insulation is used successfully in construction.
SUPERSIL increases
the resistance of building's internal premises to ignition, improves the
heat and noise insulation.
SUPERSIL
provides:
-
high level of impact sound insulation of ceiling
floors. Thin layer of SUPERSIL
reduces impact sound between load bearing slab and covering 27 dB;
-
considerable reduction (by 85%) of impact noise in
the buildings made of small-size elements (SUPERSIL
layers are placed between the basic carrying elements of the building);
-
efficient sound absorbtion in spaces where high fire
safety is required:
-
in carriages - including underground
-
in crowded buildings, in controller's offices etc;
-
sound absorbtion in multilayer sound insulating structures,
in structures of metal perforated cellings, perforated wall panels.

Durability, fire resistance and sound insulation
properties of SUPERSIL
are superior to polyurithane foam, velotherm, cork, parqolag and it can
substitute:
-
velotherm used in joints of buildings;
-
polypropilene foam, cork, parqolag for floor structures;
-
glass and mineral wool as fire resistant sound absorber.

SUPERSIL
is produced and delivered in various forms:
-
SUPERSIL - roll
material in the form of mat made from silica fibers got together without
use of any binders which can burn-out;
-
SUPERSIL - S -
mat stitched with silica yarn;
-
SUPERSIL - M
- combined multilayer material (in the form of stitched blankets) has higher
strength characteristics what makes it possible to use it under various
conditions, including contact with gas flow;
-
SUPERSIL - M1
- one side silica fabric coated mat;
-
SUPERSIL - M2
- two side silica fabric coated mat.
-
SUPERSIL - F1 -
one side silica fabric mat coated with an aluminium foil.
-
SUPERSIL - F2 -
two side silica fabric mat coated with an aluminium foil.
